*1.Q- Mr King Chipara can you tell us more about yourself, when and where were you born?*
Born 24 November 1971 at Rusape General hospital.in Manicaland Province.
*2Q- Where did you attend your primary, secondary schooling and in which years?*
My primary I started grade 1 at Zambuko school upto grade 3.Then grade 4 at Chigora school . Transfer again to Dumba school for grade 5 to 7. Years 1981 to 1988.for my primary schooling

1989 form at Nyafaro high School in Nyanga Manicaland Province.because of the war from Mozambique .I transferred to Anderson Adventist high in Wedza Mashonaland central . for form 2. Because althetic and soccer . I transferred to Daramombe mission high School in chivhu Mashonaland south . form 3and 4

*3.Q- Tell us how was performance in athletics during your primary and secondary levels?*
Sorry guys network but now if fine
Primary level I competed in 100.200.and 800m and my school I raced 10km and 15km. In provincial competition namely Mutare Dairibord 15km.also played soccer ⚽⚽ as a goalkeeper from primary up to high School
*4.Q- Do you still remember teacher or coach who identified your talent in athletics and how it started in athletics*
Running was in my blood because my primary all the schools were about 7 km away from home.running to school was my motivation to excel in athletics
*5.Q- What inspires you to be an athlete?*
Health and fitness and the support and traveling to different places and friends
*6.Q- Can you give us the names of your training partners and how did they contribute for you performance in sport?*
Getfit gym Hillcrest KZN South Africa all my training kits and shoes ๐ and the supplements they provided

*7.Q- What motivated you to take running as part of your life?*
During the year 2011 I was admitted to hospital because of BP and sugar . and the doctor said I have six months of living if I keep on relaxing without getting back my life.running become the answer*8.Q- Name your first running club and how many clubs did you ran for during your days?*
2011 I joined Hillcrest villagers club . race for 4 years under them .my weight that time was 90kg . July 2011 I raced 10km in 1hr 20mins.it was painful but that was on way to life because I'm not good in using tablet s .every Saturday morning I joined Shongweni parkrun doing 5km in 40 minutes.thru parkrun I get lots of loving friends so I end up joining Queensbury club 2014.i training with them for 2 year .2016 I joined Getfit AC KZN until now
*9.Q- Do you ever compete or won medals in any Zim National champs or representing
Zimbabwe in any regional and international champs?*
No because my days in Zimbabwe I was playing soccer ⚽ and Zifa Referee based in Gweru Midlands from 1999 to 2006
*11.Q- At what age did you start professional running in your career as an athlete?*
2011 at age 40years
*10.Q- During your junior and senior levels, who were your rivals?*
Not much because I was not fully time in running . even my senior level it's part-time basis
*12.Q- Do you ever had Coach or Manager in your career as an athlete?*
No but I get advice thru running family and club members and social media
*13.Q- What is your best shoe brand as an athlete?*

*14.Q- What was your best meals before and after the race?*
Peanut butter brown bread ๐ and tea ๐ต before .

*What happened at Mandela marathon?*
Weather was bad hotday
*17. Can you name your best road race of all time and why?*
Comrades marathon social life and friendship with the whole world ๐
*18.Q- What are the challenges and setbacks do you over come as athlete?*
Peer pressure and saving money ๐ฐ by Just exercise health wise body's immune system always full cover you over the diseases
*19.Q- How is your life during this lockdown without running races?*
My body is bigger again weight 87kg

*20.Q- How did you manage to keep focused and fit during this erra of lockdown?*
Eating healthy and active participation in house ๐️ keeping
*21.Q- What do you think should be done to improve athletics in Zimbabwe?*
We have to introduce marathons in high school . and allows rural schools to have running club .
Also reduce the required documents for registration of a club.
Give TV time to former legends to show case their running life
*22.Q- Your future plans in sport?*
As I managed
7comrades marathon ๐ medals
2 two oceans marathon
6mandela marathons
2soweto marathons and I have about 200running medals in a period of 10 years . Now I can help with information about running and have good health

It's kills the future of our future champs and waste resources

I'm a father of 5 daughters and they are my managers thru my running life .we also have our weekend running and walking 5km as a family
