*1.Q- Mr A. Mudzinganyama can you tell us more about yourself, when and where were you born?*

1- My name is Givemore i was born 12March 1990 in Nyahava this a small district in Chinyika East in Makoni(Rusape). I was born in a family of 5 children 3boys 2girls and I’m the second last born. When we where young every child’s dream was to go to the city. Now I’m a father of 2, 6year old boy and 3year old girl.



*2Q- Where did you attend your primary, secondary schooling and in which years?

2- I attended my primary school at Nyahava Primary school from 1997 to 2003 and later went to live with my older Brother in Harare where went Mabvuku High school, I was travelling from Chikubi Maximum Prison where I was staying with my brother. From my village to my primary school it was about 4km away and for my high school it was about 5km. All theses distance throughout these years where travelled by foot at young age.

*3.Q- Tell us how was performance in athletics during your primary and secondary levels?*

3-School days running was about fun and travelling opportunity (you do well you might go to the city) during primary in athletics season I could win everything at my school so mostly the teachers could choose distances for us so that we can all compete and don’t get too exhausted when competing with other school. At high everything totally changed I only started winning longer distances which made me love middle distances.

*4.Q- Do you still remember teacher or coach who identified your talent in athletics and how it started in athletics*

4- I can not remember so well but during my high school Mr Silas Muringani was teacher from different school but which was involved in SRC sports which every runner considers him serious would want to involve himself with him.

*5.Q- What inspires you to be an athlete?*

5- My inspiration is always during primary we where motivated by travelling and being away from home, At high school there was hope for scholarships and now the need support our families and have better life.

*6.Q- Can you give us the names of your training partners and how did they contribute for you performance in sport?*

6- I now training with Desmond Modgobu and Precious Mashele. These guys are in top 10 if not top 5 in South Africa and Being olympians  When you’re at this level every sponsor want you. There are endless opportunities to better your life. They motivate me to be like them. They always pushing me in training.

*7.Q- What motivated you to take running as part of your life?*

7- I’ve seen many athletes who’ve made a living out of running like Tendai Chimusasa and Hedndrick Ramalaa also running is something i love.

*8.What are age did you start professional running in your career as an athlete?*

8- I started professional running when i was 19years

*9.Q- Do you ever compete at National youth games, Which years and how many medals you won?*

-9 I have won one youth games silver medal in 800m in 2007 which held in Gweru for the under 20s

*10.Q- Do you ever represents Zimbabwe in any continental championships or World Championship?*

10- I have represented Zimbabwe in 2007 Zone 6 games and won bronze medal in 1500m

*11.Q- Do you compete or won any medal @SRC National youth games?*

*Who was your Coach?*

I competed National youth games i was bieng coached by Mr Silas Muringani

*12.Q- What's your best event do you enjoy running and why?*

12-I enyoy running marathon because  you need to invest a lot of endurance and consistency in preparation and racing

*13.Q- What is your best shoe brand as an athlete?*

13- ASICS I’ve been using using them since 2016

*Why Asics?*

ASICS uses latest technology in making running to give  cushioning to prevent injuries which help athletes reach there best efforts

*14.Q- What was your best meals before and after the race?*

14- I prefer eating Sadza nemuriwo or Makaroni if I travel to races without Sadza eating your everyday meal before race avoid stomach bug during racing

*15.Q- Who's your best coach and manager in your career as an athlete?*

15- I’m currently coached by Hendrick Ramalaa. He has got much knowledge about running as he was an athlete as well. I don’t have a manager at the moment

*16.Q- What is your best and worst race or competitions in your career?*

16- My best marathon was Paris Marathon i was left alone by elite runners and manage to run good time. Worst race Soweto marathon 2017 i was blwn away by heat wave at 30km.

*17.Q- What's your best times in the following distance from*

*1500m, 5000m, 10 000m,  10km, 21km, 42km and 50km*

17- 1500 3mins 56secs PBs 

5km 14mins 28secs

10km 29mins 26 secs

21km 65mins 00secs

Marathon 2hrs 18mins 47secs

*18.Q- What's your best road race of all time and why?*

Petro Sa half marathon in 2016 it was one after running Sanlam 22km trail but i pushed myself to run my best half marothon of 65mins

*19.Q- What's inspires you  to ran Nedbanks 50km world record attempt?*

19- NedbankRunified 50km was one of the best and first ultra marathon for every runner in Southern Africa during COVID 19. Everyone wanted to compete including me. It was a hope that we could start running again and i was part of it which was special.

*20.Q- What are some challenges did you face in your career as an athlete?*

20- When I started professional running i got hip injury in end 2009 and i was out of running until 2013.

*21.Q- Do you ever  thought qualifying of Tokyo Olympics this year?*

21. Tokyo was always in my hopes i lost hope when there where know preparation racing and attept races

*22.Q- Your future plans in sport*

*23.Q- Your motivational words to the upcoming athletes?*

22- I would like to represent my country in on of world championships or Olympics which will both need me to run 2hr 11mins 30secs Marathon

There are many opportunities which comes with run even if you’re not doing well now you might win as you get older endurance and improvement comes over many years. Through running you can get scholarship or even a job

*24.Q- Your words on age cheating, drug use in sport and corrupt officials?*

Drugs and age cheating is one of the demotivating factors amongst  many hardworking athletes.  It’s stealing hard working s as thletes rewards I say No age cheating and doping

*25.Q- Mr G. Mudzinganyama, what are your last words to follower on this Mr Pace Show?*

I would to say to everyone thank you for tuning in. Keep on doing what you’re doing either youre athletics official, media crew member, coach or social athlete it will help our sports grow. And to Mr Pace keep on inspiring us buy hosting living legends and upcoming athletes

*26.Q- In brief tell us about your family and their support to your profession as sports person*

My wife runs as well we motivate each other if she wins a race she gives me hope to fight for top position. My parents always send me words of encouragement before and after races. They understand that there are bad and good days.

After 50km NedbankRunified he convinced me to come and help me prepare for Cape Town marathon in October if the project works he he sees potentially for me to qualify for World championships.
