*1.Q- Ms Rhodah Njobvu can you tell us more about yourself, when and where were you born?*
I’m Rhoda Njobvu I was born on 29th January 1994 in Lusaka
*2.Q- Do you still remember the person who helped you to start running?*
I used participate in sport in primary school and discovered I was good to I continued participating
*3.Q- When did you start running and how it started?*
I started in grade seven, I was chosen to participate in sporting activities in school
*4.Q- What inspires you to be a runner?*
The nachula sisters Racheal and Rabbeca
*5.Q- Tell us how was your performance in athletics during your primary and secondary levels?*
It was really good that’s why I decided to further my athletic journey
*6.Q- Can you give us the names of your training partners and how did they contribute for you performance in sport?*
Lumeka katundu, suwilanji mpondela, Sydney siame Daniel mbewe. They really play a vital role in my training because we get to advise each other on bettering ourselves
*7.Q- What motivated you to take running as part of your life?*
It’s a talent I discovered that I’m good in so I decided to better my self
*8.Q- Name your first running club and how many clubs did you ran for during your days?*
Ocafa club it was an academy, and later joined green eagles athletics club
*9.Q- Do you ever represents Zambia at any international champs?*
Yes

*10.Q- Who do you fear or your rivals at Zambian National competitions?*
I don’t have any rivals and my coach is my best buddy
*11.Q- At what age did you start professional running in your career as an athlete?*
Yes with God everything is possible 🙏

*12.Q- Who was your best coach and manager in your career as an athlete?*
Coach Douglas and standfold mushili
*When did you start working with them and how it started?*
At my grassroots level I was with my producer Sandfold Mushili and at my professional level with coach Douglass
*13.Q- What is your best shoe brand as an athlete?*
Nike
*Why Nike my Sister*
So comfortable,easy to find and it's just the favorite brand for me
*14.Q- What was your best meals before and after the race?*
Before running I take lot of carbohydrates, fruits and after I take more of protein and vegetables
*15.Q- what was best times in the following events from: *100m* *200m* *400m?*
100m 11:12
200m 22: 64
400m 52: 45

*16.Q- What is your best and worst competition in your career as an athlete?*
My best competition was qualifying for Tokyo at Olympic in both 100 and 200 at my home soil and my worst were the comowealth games where I was an able to run due to an injury
*What really it takes be an Olympian*
Hard working, determination,focus, discipline and believing in yourself
*How was your performances in Tokyo Olympics?*
It's amazing with great experience
*17.Q- What is your favourite event in track and why?*
My fav event track is 200meters because I manage to run very easily
*18.Q- What setbacks have you encountered in your career as an female athlete?*
Lack of proper support infrastructure and lack of equipment
*What do you expect on proper support?*
To seen many sponsors coming on board at the right time before and after completion
*19.Q- How are you copy to the situations of Lockdowns where is no races or events?*
It has been hard but I have managed to look at the positive side of the situation with the help of coach Douglas and the Association
*20.Q- How Athletics change your life financially?*
Yes it has I managed to get employed and scholarship through athletics
*21.Q- Your words about age cheating and drug use in sport?*
Age cheating doesn’t help in anyway because the training being given is according to the age you have portrayed and drugs abuse is not good for it puts ones health at steak
*22.Q- Your future plans in sport?*
Owning my own academy and owning an orphanage to help grown vulnerable children
*23.Q- What do you think should be done to improve athletics in provincial athletics board and national level?*
The government should invest in athletics to help develop talents and provide enough infrastructure so that people should be motivated to come on board
*24.Q- What are your last words to followers on this Mr Pace Show platform?*
To advise the upcoming athlete to come on board and show their talent and kindly asking for more sponsors to invest in athletics and provide enough training equipment. Continue with your good spirit
*25.Q-whom you think is responsible for your success in your sport?*

My family, coaches and everyone who has been supporting me in anyways to grow in athletics
*26.Q- In brief tell us about your family and their support to your profession as sports person?*
Thank you so much thank you our host as well as the presenter we felt uplifted as upcoming athletes
My family is supportive the respect my track time and give me the mutual support whether my performance is bad or good the haven’t stopped believing in me and I’m really grateful for that

*18.Q- What setbacks have you encountered in your career as an female athlete?
My question is inline with this question 18.... Actually l will put it this way...are they any genda associated challenges... Like being left marginalized because of your genda???
My next question is can one take sport as a life career??? And as for you, do you have other financial support projects or it's only sport you rely on?
